   Flathead Valley

The Flathead Valley is situated just west of the Continental Divide in the Rocky Mountains, amid the Swan, Mission, Salish and Whitefish ranges of northwest Montana. In addition to the outstanding recreational opportunities available everywhere from Flathead Lake to the top of Big Mountain and beyond, the Flathead Valley offers both peaceful relaxation and a range of exciting cultural choices to visitors and residents alike. Kalispell, the largest city in the Flathead Valley, serves as the retail and business center of Northwest Montana. To the north, the long-time ski and summer resort town of Whitefish now boasts a thriving arts community. Columbia Falls, on the scenic Flathead River, is often called “The Gateway to Glacier National Park.”

   Whitefish

Located in the heart of the spectacular northern Rocky Mountains, our town is home to the world-class Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort, the gateway to Glacier National Park, and 7,436 of the friendliest Montana folks – and business owners – that you’ll ever want to meet.  Whether you’re looking for a great place to raise a family, run a business, enjoy your retirement years or simply take a well-deserved vacation, look no further … Whitefish, Montana has something for everyone!
